About Technical Program Manager:

Upstage Japan is looking for a Technical Program Manager who will serve as the key interface between the Japan GTM team and our global engineering and product organization based in Korea. This role is critical to driving partner-led PoC execution, coordinating cross-functional programs, and ensuring reliable technical delivery across local and global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Project Management

• Own end-to-end project lifecycle for partner-led enterprise PoC and implementation projects in Japan, from kickoff through delivery
• Align multiple concurrent projects with the global product and technology roadmap, minimizing time-to-value for customers
• Define and operate project protocols and workflows within the Japan team to reduce ad-hoc dependency on the global organization

Global Interface & Cross-functional Leadership

• Act as the primary interface between the Japan GTM team and global engineering, product, and R&D teams, enabling structured knowledge transfer and issue resolution
• Lead Japan-side preparation and facilitation for recurring cross-functional syncs with the global team, ensuring clear agendas and actionable outcomes
• Build collaboration frameworks and communication processes between internal and external stakeholders so that customer feedback is consistently reflected in products

Technical Execution

• Partner with Solution Architects (SA) to support PoC execution — bridging business requirements and technical implementation
• Identify and mitigate technical and operational risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Drive the creation of reusable technical assets (documentation, demos, enablement materials) in collaboration with SA and global teams

Business Operations

• Work with model and development teams to define short- and long-term goals and product roadmaps for enterprise customers
• Manage program costs and analyze return on investment

グローバル連携・クロスファンクショナルリーダーシップ

• Japan GTMチームとグローバルのエンジニアリング・製品・R&Dチームの窓口として、ナレッジ共有と課題解決を円滑に推進する
• グローバルチームとの定例横断会議について、日本側のアジェンダ設計と進行を主導し、具体的なアクションにつながる場として機能させる
• 社内外のステークホルダー間の連携フローと情報共有の仕組みを整え、顧客フィードバックが継続的に製品へ反映される体制を構築する

技術実行

• アカウントマネージャー（AM）や、ソリューションアーキテクト（SA）と連携してPoC実行を支援し、ビジネス要件と技術実装の橋渡しを担う
• プロジェクト全体を通じ、技術的・運営上のリスクを早期に特定・対処する
• SAおよびグローバルチームと協力し、ドキュメント・デモ・トレーニング素材といった再利用可能な技術支援コンテンツの整備を推進する

ビジネスオペレーション

• モデル開発チームおよび開発チームと協力し、エンタープライズ向け製品の短期・中長期目標の定義とロードマップ策定を行う
• プログラム全体のコスト管理および投賄対効果の分析を担う

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience leading technology product planning, development organizations, or technical projects
• Solid understanding of AI products and technologies (LLMs, Document AI, or equivalent)
• Strong problem-solving skills with a high sense of ownership
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English
• Proven ability to collaborate and coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI model training, inference/serving, performance optimization, or building ML pipelines

• Experience leading cross-functional or cross-business programs with diverse stakeholders — customers, engineering, UX/UI, and R&D
• Background in enterprise SaaS, cloud, or platform products
• Familiarity with partner-led GTM models or SI/ISV ecosystems in Japan
