Upstage aims to make AI beneficial with the vision of Easy-to-apply AI, Everywhere by creating AI solutions. We’re looking for Sales Leader who will share their experiences to help clients climb on the inevitable wave of AI innovation.

As the Sales leader, you will have a broad role – market maker, operator, and general manager of a sales team – and will build a strategy focused on winning new customers and deepening relationships with the existing customers. You will directly work with CEO and CSO (Business leader), and have full responsibility and right to operate the sales team. You should have experience in market and business development of business applications and solutions. The right candidate must possess top of the line leadership skills with the ability to execute on key business initiatives. The role will require to build the sales team, build scalable go-to-market programs, and develop strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about the business, product and technical challenges.


Responsibilities:

  • Set-up a high-performing sales team

  • Plan and allocate extended team resources in order to meet company’s goals

  • Focus on scaling AI solution sales, developing repeatable, packaged solutions contracts to solve customer challenges, building scalable go-to-market strategy and programs, and developing strategic partnerships

  • Drive strategic AI workloads to deepen business and technical relationships with customers and partners

  • As the voice of the customer, your findings will influence product teams to help them evolve the products and address issues, concerns, and requests from the field

  • Analyze and determine key customer insights from business drivers, market trends and customer feedback, and operating metrics

Job requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Field customer and partner facing roles with focus on enterprise applications, solutions or cloud platforms
  • Experienced, built, proven people engagement and experience leading large, diverse teams across multiple role types
  • Built and proactively managed a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration
  • Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners.
